People say my country is dangerous well it is but just like Colombia Trinidad and Tobago my country it's entirely dangerous there are dangerous areas but not the whole country
I spent 2 months in Colombia this year and had a blast and nothing happened to me. I do think you need to exercise numerous precautions in the big cities though, crime on naive foreigners is on the rise in cities.
I’ll sum them up: don’t look for drugs, avoid or at least be extremely careful on tinder/bumble, never leave your drink unattended or accept drinks from strangers, don’t go to bars/clubs alone, don’t walk in quiet streets, get Uber/DiDis at night and don’t flash your wealth. If you can’t be assed to take these precautions, Colombian cities will be dangerous for you.
