I believe in the future of Africa, and the sacred meanings behind us descendants returning to our homeland. At the same time, I cannot subscribe to leaving the US to struggle worse like a do     See More a because a place like Ghana is STILL very much a developing country that asks WAY TOO MUCH for decent housing! The family sized place by the beach is $400K and there ain’t no roads, sidewalks, gutters, access to mass transportation, shopping centers, hospitals, schools, yada yada yada. Don’t get me wrong. Yes, it’s beautiful, but most Black folk will go broke and move into a disaster if/when it starts flooding or face constant power/internet failures etc etc etc. Renting these out on Airbnb sounds like a good idea, but it’s easier said than done when it comes to getting your ROI. Plus, too much vacation home proliferation is not always healthy for the culture and local communities. We need more opportunities where we can move to, and grow with…… the country as it develops. I’d be more willing to take the beachfront 4 bedroom as an unfinished shell on an acre for $130,000 USD. The current economics will make you lose before you even start. If Africa is truly to be uncolonized, and truly to become a thriving and prosperous place for Black people in the Motherland and globally, we absolutely MUST have better options!!!    See Less

I'm here in Atlanta and I will be staying here but I have reservations abo     See More s freely letting Asians, Indians and Europeans in their countries. I'm happy things are moving in a positive direction for the brothers and sisters on the continent. I just have a problem with Africans being so welcoming to other groups. The black South Africans can't seem to shake, get rid of the whites in their country and the rest of you seem to be naive like the first lady you interviewed who bragged about Indians, and Asians being there and how her kids are being brainwashed into this global perspective. In case you aren't aware Trump is getting the Latinos out of the country. He is getting blacks out of the country. You see these folks come from "shithole" countries. He is focusing on whiteness and you all on the continent want to focus on being "global." You want diversity but the European isn't cool with that. For the Africans own survival they better start thinking like the white man. Black people should look out for black people, their countries, their cultures.    See Less
